Color: Pale yellow brown Common Uses: Ajowan essential oil extracted from Ajowan Seed is much valued for it\'s stimulant, tonic, and carminative properties. It is very good for anti microbial purposes also.
Odor: herbaceous - spicy medicinal, much like thyme History: Ajowan Essential Oil has been traditionally used in India as an antiseptic and carminative. It is similar to thymol in its action and properties. Cautions: Ajowan Essential Oil is very concentrated and if used directly can cause skin irritation. Avoid during pregnancy.
