Description: The Bergamot tree grows up to four meters high. It has star-shaped flowers and smooth leaves, with citrus fruit resembling a cross between an orange and a grapefruit but shaped like a pear.

Color: Greenish yellow

Common Uses: Bergamot essential oil can be used in the treatment of depression, stress, tension,infection (all types including skin), anorexia, psoriasis, eczema.

Blends well with: Bergamot Oil blends well with oils of Black Pepper, Clary sage, Cypress, Jasmine, Mandarin, Nutmeg, Orange, Vetiver and Ylang Ylang.

Odor: Bergamot Essential Oil aroma can be described as citrus, yet fruity and sweet and having a warm spicy floral note.

Cautions: Bergamot oil can cause severe skin burning when used on sensitive skin
