Botanical Name: Cedarus deodora Plant Part: Wood Extraction: Steam Distillation Origin:India Description: Himalayan Cedarwood is a tall, evergreen tree which grows up to 50 m in height. It is found on the hills of the Himalayas in north India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Color: Pale yellow green Common Uses: Cedarwood Essential Oil is used as an antiseptic, ant putrescent, antiseborrheic, sedative, stimulant (circulatory), tonic. Himalayan Cedarwood oil also contains insecticidal and antifungal properties. Blends well with: Cedarwood Oil blends well with the citrus oils and also with Rosemary, Chamomile and Eucalyptus.
