Botanical Name: Cedarus deodora

Origin:India

Description: Himalayan Cedarwood is a tall, evergreen tree which grows up to 50 m in height. It is found on the hills of the Himalayas in north India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Color: Pale yellow green

Common Uses: Cedarwood Essential Oil is used as an antiseptic, ant putrescent, antiseborrheic, sedative, stimulant (circulatory), tonic. Himalayan Cedarwood oil also contains insecticidal and antifungal properties.

Blends well with: Cedarwood Oil blends well with the citrus oils and also with Rosemary, Chamomile and Eucalyptus.

Odort: Cedarwood Himalayan Oil aroma can be descrived as woody, camphoraceous, smoky and balsamic with a hint of spice.

Cautions: Avoid during pregnancy.
